Give me a hint with a hammer
Or give me a hit with a brick
Life is that dead old dilemma
Of chances unwilling to pick

In dark deep the shadows are trailing
Like pieces of sick cloth on string
A longing of mourning an wailing
When wet to your body they cling

Yet, I cannot give my soul in
Hand back that dead carcass of mine
Nothing to make me old heart sing
Has left heaven’s torment in time.

The Tigress

Was it doom’s or heaven’s sigh
When the tigress came upon you?
Say where do your wishes lie
As her claws enthral you?

Does your heart beat strong with pain,
With fear or is it yet desire?
Is that conformity I hear
In her eternal fire?

Hark now – have I caught you bare,
Seen right through your jungle heart?
Be cautious of the witch’s stare,
It might catch you off your guard.

The Tiger

Slowly tapping through the jungle

Walks the tiger - all unseen

Neither sound nor even mumble

You can hear in deepest green

Softly jumping under bushes

Gently gliding through the rain

Suddenly he smiles and rushes

Upon you – and not in vain.

Regenbogensommersprossen

Regenbogensommersprossen
